What We Do
CF takes a holistic approach to the welfare of young people. This is why we provide such a wide variety of programmes, so that we can offer comprehensive, targeted support:
Tutoring sessions delivered to help children improve their academic performance and bridge the attainment gap.
Group therapeutic sessions supporting the mental health of children, reducing anxiety, improving well-being, and building resilience.
Mentoring gives children a trusted guide – building confidence, resilience, and aspirations for the future. It also provides stability for vulnerable children at risk of exclusion or exploitation.
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, there had been a visible rise in difficulties surrounding resilience and mental health among young people. As a response, we shifted our educational activities to include programmes that also encourage the mental health and development of the children we work with. Five years later, CF still focuses on reaching more young people than ever before.
Our Schools
We work directly with partner schools who identify pupils most in need of our targeted support to provide a holistic, child-centred approach to wellbeing.
We have a waiting list of schools ready to work with us. With the support of our donors, we can continue to offer these essential services to the children who need them most.
If you are interested in working with us, please visit our Partner as a School page.
