What We Do

CF offers a variety of opportunities to young people which they otherwise might not have the means to access. CF takes a holistic approach to the welfare of young people. This is why we provide such a wide variety of programmes, so that we can offer comprehensive, targeted support.

Our core activity is the delivery of small group, subject-specific tuition in English and Maths to help bridge the attainment gap. These are supplemented by our breakfast clubs, which ensure that no child is forced to come to school hungry.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a visible rise in difficulties surrounding resilience and mental health among young people. This is why we supplement our educational activities with programmes to encourage the development of resilient strategies.

This year, CF is focused on reaching more young people than ever before. On top of continuing to grow our core offers, CF is developing Placement Programmes for secondary school state-educated students. One of these specifically aims to offer industry experience to girls in spaces that women have been traditionally excluded from. What we hope to offer is translucency into industries that had previously been made inaccessible.

Our Schools

We work directly with partner schools who identify pupils most in need of our targeted support to provide a holistic, child-centred approach to wellbeing.

We have a waiting list of schools ready to work with us. With the support of our donors, we can continue to offer these essential services to the children who need them most.
